Beyond The World. Chapter 2 : Holiday [part 1]

The sun shined brightly, burning the fair skin of Matt. From a far distance, the mirage seemed to form and it danced gracefully on the horizon. A mass of white clouds floated obediently according to the wind on the nice azure sky, which to me looked like a big cotton candy was moving. The steady dank sea breeze of the sea brought a sense of peace to everyone at the beach, including Matt and me. A covey of seagulls was taking place on the nearby dock, looking for small fish and crabs for lunch.

I rested my head on my arms, shutting my eyes close. Matt would then turn his look to me, before his finger was suddenly brought up against my nose, pinching it slowly. I squeaked. I tried to open my eyes back, but squinted as the incandescence of the sun was immense, almost turning my eyes blind. I forced myself to sit up, before turning my look to him. My mouth was slightly parted and was ready to yell, but the glittering hazel eyes of Matt made me relax again. "What's up?" I asked him straight. Both of us straighten our knees, which able the waves to reach us. Sometimes they crashed hard on the beach, bringing along small crabs and shells to our feet. The moment they pulled back, I could see both our heels sank a bit into the gold sand.

"Just bored." Matt finally replied. "Hey, do you have plan for summer?" He added, as he put on his dark glasses, pushing it up the bridge of his nose. He's about six feet tall, and athletic shape, which even his loose fit jeans and T-shirt couldn't conceal.

I paused for a moment there. I reached for my backpack, and ran my hands inside, rummaging each corner and was hoping to find a T-shirt. "No, but maybe Sarah has. She told me that..." I uttered as i put on a white Reebok T-shirt, but stumbled on my action upon somebody leaped on to my back, hugging my neck from behind.

"Hey guys!" A voice behind me called both of us, only it was too close to my ears, almost turning me deaf. Both Matt and I turned back to see Sarah was smiling and she brought two sticks of ice-cream. She looked delighted and happy, which was the Sarah i knew. I took both of the ice-creams and passed one to Matt.

"You're just in time." Matt said as he took my offer, before taking off the wrapper and shove it into his mouth. That time his eyes widen. I did the same, but I bit some of the ice-cream before I offered to Sarah, and she took a bite. "Brain freeze, huh?" I took a quick glance to Matt. He turned around, shutting his eyes tightly, before he shivered. "Owww..." Both Sarah and I burst into laughter.

"Oh, I know!" Sarah sounded without alarm. "We would go to my family's mansion at Worchestershire. The place is sooo beautiful!" She added, gesturing with her hands. "My grandma said that there was something weird going on too. We go and check them up..?" She winked to me.

"Ehh...I...urm..." I hesitantly replied, before Matt said, "Sure, we'll go." And that sounded like the end of conversation, which meant Matt made my decision. "Well, not the first time." I muttered. The three of us set our body reclined under the soft kiss of the sun, which turned my skin to tan. We talked and laughed about school, about this boy Henry being bullied. A flock of seagulls flew across our heads from the sea, followed by the sunset, which displayed the separation of orange colours in the direction from the sun to the observers and the blue components scattered from the surrounding sky. It also concluded that it's dinner time. My stomach growled, reminding me that I hadn't eaten since lunch.
Matt and I sat at the dinner table, before Mum appeared in between us, serving lasagna on each of out plates. "It's nice to have you join us for dinner, Matt." Mum started the dinner conversation.

"It's true, you're like a family." Dad added, before he reached his hand for the salad, but Mum tapped it away, as she frowned her eyebrows to dad, signalling him to wait. Dad pouted and rubbed his hand.

"It means a lot to me, thank you, Mr and Mrs Hayden." Matt replied, lowering his head a bit.
"Okay, dig in guys." Mum smiled and slunk into her seat. "Honey, could you pass the bread, please?"

Dad bit one of the garlic bread, holding it in between his teeth and passed the basket to Mum. "So, where do you plan to go for summer, boys?" Dad said, before chewing a forkful of lasagna. I didn't know who should answer, but judging from the look of Matt which had his mouth full, I gently wiped my mouth with a napkin before answering. "We decided to go to Worchestershire." I uttered, before stabbed the cheery and shove it into my mouth.

Mum choked on her wain. "Worchestershire?"

Matt would surely notice that I nodded my head. Judging from Mum's look, i might saw a red light instead of green one. I Just too familiar with that look. But before i could say something to defend myself, Dad interjected, "Sure, it's a nice place. And I heard that there're going to be a carnival there." He glanced at us before looking at his plate again. Both Matt and I gawked, but knowing that Dad once studied at Bestport, he might knew a thing or two about that place.

Still, I worried lest Mum would protest. However, from what Dad had said, it probably final. I quenched myself who didn't appear to be thirsty at all with a glass of lemonade. The fluid swam uneasily inside me, threatening to come back up. I looked at Mum, waiting for her answer which felt like forever. I saw she slowly munched her food, her eyes staring blankly, like she was thinking deeply about something.

"I promise I'll have my eyes on him, Mrs Hayden." Matt suddenly said, which made me stared at him in disbelief. We were only two years difference, like it would make a big change. I thought he just ruined my chance of going, but instead, I saw Mum's lips were moving. "Sure honey, have fun. But promise me, you'll take care of yourself." She said, as she curved her mouth and gave a warm smile at me. Did Mum just gave her consent? Did Matt just helped my ass back there? A number of question marks popped into my head, which wasn't answered. I felt grateful, but thinking that I would go to some kind of place which only surrounded by hillocks and thick woods, I could be hoping that Mum wouldn't let me go. But, it was too late.

One hour had passed. The dished were washed, and the table was cleaned. I staggered upstairs, my stomach was full. Matt steadily followed behind. I fumbled my hand in the darkness for the switch, and my finger flicked to it. Before my eyes could adapt themselves into the darkness, the room filled with brightness. Picking up a pair of jeans on the floor, I threw it into the basket. Then, I reeled to my bed like a drunken man, throwing my body over on top. My body felt really sore, which made me regret for not using the sunblock. Matt on the other hand crossed his hands, staring at my bookshelves, which a minute later he pulled put last month's Reader Digest. "Mind if I borrow this?" He stated, waving the magazine before he finally settled down at my couch.

"H-hold on a minute, you're sleeping downstairs, right?" Not here?" I asked, looking at him and probably concerned. I saw the other guy who has been my neighbour for almost 10 years concentrating at what he's reading. He looked back at me, but didn't lift his head. "Yeah, why?" He briefly replied.

"N-nothing." I answered. Before I could think of another sentence, I already set to sleep.

10 Tips On How To Write The Perfect Resume

A resume represents you in words and is the one that creates the first impression. So, a resume must be well thought of and written perfectly. According to experts in the field of human resources there are five basic concepts:

1. A resume must market your skills. It must highlight your qualifications and experience.

2. The resume must avoid focusing on the past and project what you are and your capabilities. It must be about "you" and not on your past.

3. The highlight must be on your plans for the future and how you intend to go about achieving your aims.

4. Instead of chronologically listing your job profiles the resume must emphasize with clarity your accomplishments.

5. The resume must reflect your skills and visions not just mundane everyday actions at work.
When sitting down to write or rewrite a resume, put yourself in the shoes of the person who will read the resume and either shortlist you or junk your application. Never use a standard resume for every job application. Rework the resume to "fit" the job you are applying for.

[ There are 10 vital steps that will help you create a perfect resume: ]

1. First read through the job vacancy profile carefully. Then create a "job objective." This just means the position you are applying for.

2. Determine what skills, knowledge, and experience will suit the job best.

3. Create a short list of your qualifications and experience that will reflect that you are a suitable candidate for the post. That is you are capable of handling the proposed "job objective."

4. Draw from your past experience and find accomplishments that prove you can shoulder the job responsibilities.

5. In the resume elaborate in brief accomplishments that highlight your abilities to handle the job you are applying for. Emphasize how your work benefited your employer.

6. Include in the resume a table listing the jobs you have held in chronological order. Begin with the most recent. Include student experience, summer placements, and projects undertaken gratis. Explain any time gaps.

7. List your educational qualifications especially those relevant to the job you are applying for.

8. Ensure that the format of the resume is consistent follow either the chronological or functional format. A template for a functional resume is at http://jobstar.org/tools/resume/tempfun.php and chronological is at:http://jobstar.org/tools/resume/tempchr.php.

9. Include a concise and crisp career objective at the beginning of the resume.

10. At the beginning include a summary of key points.

When in doubt surf the World Wide Web and read through resume tips and formats given by experts on sites like monster.com and Yahoo jobs .com.

A perfect resume is one that grabs the attention of the employer. It should be distinct from the thousands that will reach the employer's desk. A winning resume is one that speaks volumes without shouting out loud of your abilities and strengths.

Write a resume. Then ask an impersonal outsider to vet it for you. If in doubt seek professional help.

PS: Make sure that u a resume in both languages, Malay and English. n_n"

Public Relationship [part 1]

First of all, do you believe in the quote "we fight for what we care?". Before that, what do you care of? What are the things that are really important in your life? Will it be your family? Your pet? Your studies? Or even yourself? What is the thing that makes you always think about it. Some said their special one. huh?

Actually, many of us do not know what we care for. Frankly to be said, "we care for nothing, but we fight for everything". That was what my friend told me, and he was right.
I always told to myself, be honest. At least to yourself.

Before i actually go deep into how to have a good public relationship, let me ask you.
When you first entered your school of college, have you ever felt or thought that you would someday be the school's head of prefect or the club president? Of course you are. Well, i believe so.

You might say one of your senior speaking in front of other schoolmates and have a high post in school, not to mention other students were listening and were paying attention to every single word he said.

Or maybe, you see one of your new schoolmates gets along well with others, not to mention he/she always get the credit from teachers and being praised by the seniors. Of course, this distracts you. You want to be popular as well. You want people to vote for you as the leader.

However, you will not succeed if you do not have a good 'PR' or in a simple word, a good reputation from others.

Let me tell you about one of my friend. He is someone...who does not care of what others think about him and be only befriend with those who can accept him. In fact, when a lot of people actually gave him a piece of advice, including me, he will ignore all of us. "I am who I am" That is what he always said.

In reality, we are the one who have to change ourselves in order to adapt ourselves in the new surrounding, or to mix with new people.

"The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness,
to an opponent, tolerance,
to a friend, your heart,
to your child, a good example,
to a father, deference,
to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you,
to yourself, respect,
to all men, charity"

Just note this in your mind. Everyone is different. That means, we have to treat everyone differently in the way they want it.
And that's how you will gain others' respects.

First,

Make sure you know about people around you, and their personalities. By that you can manipulate them. Oh wait, that is how you can properly act upon them in the best way according to their personalities. Yeah, that's the right way to say it. Maybe you wonder how the hell to know about other's personality? Well, it needs hunches.

Find out what triggers their anger, and avoid it. Ask others about he/she before you actually meet the person. If you start a conversation about things that he/she like, you might get a better perception by that person towards you. Make sure you know when to take your steps. Learn and observe in what condition and find the best moment to approach the person. To be short, don't let people know about your bad side. That's how you can gain respect.

I'll continue in the next part. ^^" sorry.

Get Fit ! Especially When You're A Teenager

Worried about your fitness level? Well get your workout a.s.a.p ! Because after you reach adult, you might find it harder to get fit ! You've always heard, "eat your veggies!" but that old saying is boring. Spice up your diet and activity by using this article!!

Steps

  1. 1
Tell your parents that you want to get fit and healthy and ask if they'll help. You can do it alone, but any extra support from friends or relatives is useful. Keep smiling and stay positive!
  2. 2
Eat a healthy, balanced diet with lots of vegetables and fruits, and drink plenty of water (eight glasses a day will keep you hydrated and is beneficial during high-energy activities). Avoid sugar and refined carbohydrates found in foods like white bread and pasta, where possible. Complex carbohydrates, such as those in whole grains and beans, are a better source of energy. Moderate your fat intake, but don't try to eliminate it from your diet. Your body does need some.
  3. 3
Start an exercise routine. You'll want to start out small and work your way up. Start going to a gym and, if you're really determined, get a Personal Trainer. They have you do a physical test and a written survey and match what you want to gain to your body type. This may cost a bit though.
    • If you're too young to work out in a gym, there's still plenty you can do! Get involved in a sport; soccer, tennis, football, basketball, and roller blading are all fun ways to get and keep yourself fit! Or, start doing push-ups. Do as many as you can every day and keep a log book of records and goals. Try sit-ups, pull-ups, and jumping jacks, too. Go jogging, sprinting, and running as much as possible. If you are getting better at running, maybe you could join the cross country team.

Get Cheap . Learn How To Haggle

Haggling isn't just for car lots and garage sales. It can also help you get a better deal from the big box electronics retailers. And studies showed that women are better in haggling compared to men ! Follow these steps and you might be surprised how much you can save in a year.

1. Do Your Homework
“Before you walk into any store, do your homework. Research the going prices and decide what you’re willing to spend,” says Mary. Arm yourself with information, not just pricing but features as well. This will give you credibility as well as a bargaining edge. Research the models priced above and below the model you want, too. The more information you have the better bargainer you’ll be.

2. Shop During Off-hours
Don’t go on a Saturday morning when the store is packed with people. Go at 2:00pm on a Wednesday when there’s no one there. The salesperson can spend more time with you, and will be more motivated to make a sale since there are fewer opportunities during the day. Also, the manager, who typically needs to okay the lower price, is more readily available.

3. Keep Your Cool
When you walk in the door of the store, put on your poker face and contain your enthusiasm once you find your item. Don’t walk directly to it, walk around a little bit before you make your way to the product. Salespeople are watching.

4. Be Confident
Mary can’t stress enough the importance of having confidence when you walk in the store. Ask the salesperson simply, ‘Is this the best price you can do?’ She says that some stores have an unwritten rule that lets anyone in the store, not just managers, take up to 10% off an item. If the salesperson says they can’t go lower on the price ask: ‘Is there anything you can add to make the price more agreeable?’ You might be able to get free delivery, free installation, a free cable or case, or even an extended warranty.

5. Be Polite
Being polite, patient, and charming can go a long way to you getting what you want. Don’t bully the salesperson or threaten to walk out. He’ll be much more likely to give you what you want if he likes you.

 6. Embrace the Silence
After you ask for something don’t say anything for awhile. This is a widely popular negotiating skill. When it comes to haggling, you’ll seem like you’re mulling it over, and the salesperson will try to fill the silence, hopefully with a deal.

7. Reveal Your Budget
There’s nothing wrong with saying you don’t have the money. If the TV you want costs $1800, tell them you’re on a strict budget and can’t spend more than $1600. Mary says “Some people will work with you rather than lose a sale all together.” However, if you do this, make sure you know the store’s layout and product offerings. If hanging right next to it is a cheaper TV for $1600, you might not get the deal. (This is why doing your homework is so important: If you’re presented with this problem, you can say you need a certain feature that only the $1800 TV has without skipping a beat.)

8. Get the Sale Price
If the salesperson isn’t budging, ask for the date of the store’s next sale, or if there are any special coupons.

 9. Leave your Name and Number
If all else fails, write down your number and name, and say ‘I’m very interested in this TV but I’m only willing to pay $$$. Here’s my name and number and price I can pay, if at the end of the month you still need to sell this please don’t hesitate to call me.” Hunt says a surprising amount of people get phone calls in their cars, or the next day with an offer. Even though a salesperson doesn’t work on commission, there is usually some type of quota, or incentive program underway.

10. Walk Away
Be prepared to walk away and try again another day.

Feel free to give these haggling tips a try. You have nothing to lose and money to save.

Beyond The World. Chapter 1 : The War [part 3]

‘I’ll give my everything!” Kyn replied, as every second he wasted waiting had evoked the sense of fear and wary about the war. Sir Aaron looked discontent. He gave his last smile to Kyn before he pirouetted and took off downhill, towards the red army. His shadow that covered Kyn suddenly disappeared in a flash. Normally Sir Aaron would never left Kyn that way, but this time had made Kyn completely flummoxed and worried. He boggled for a while.

“M-master, wait !” Kyn frantically straighten up, before he made a high jump at the cliff where Sir Aaron had went. There, he saw his master swiftly running down the hill like a shooting star plummeting down the earth. Kyn sensed something was wrong. The unique blue aura possessed by his master slowly seemed to fade. just like Kyn, Sir Aaron had the same ability to see through aura within people. In fact, he was the one who had taught Kyn. Somehow at a point, Kyn was able to gather all his might and scurried towards Sir Aaron.

Even with his power, Kyn had trouble to go after Sir Aaron. He saw the blue aura of his master suddenly stopped and glowed brighter, which made Kyn came to a halt as well. He sensed further that Sir Aaron raised his staff, before stretching his arm backward, took aim and threw his staff. It landed and spiked directly at the edge of Kyn’s right foot.

“W-what the…” Kyn flabbergasted. The staff started to glow brightly now. Kyn felt a strange feeling of numbness on his legs and all over his body. Frankly, he was not able to move, even a sibgle muscle. The incandescence og the light grew stronger, before the diamond emitted a strange power that slowly sucking up Kyn into the staff.

“N-no…! Why master? How could you betray me..!” His voice echoed up the whole canyon. His body felt really light, and he was being sucked and pulled into the glowing staff, before he completely vanished. A couple drops of tear fell on to the earth.

The Tree Of Life seemed to give out sound as it was wailing now. Both legions marched closer, and they prepared for the battle. Sir Aaron looked up to see a red unicorn and a blue harpy clashed and fought with each other. He clenched his fist tightly and ran faster. Somehow, the crystals that scattered all  over the land looked pale. Even the royal castle, which had a lot of crystals embed on its walls and gardens faded. From the sky, it looked like two different colours of liquid merged together. Two mastodons from each sides clashed and hit each other.

The blue one fell on to the ground, and the red one was ready to stomp, but it was just before a rock-made snake from the blue army curled around and constricted tightly around the red mastodon’s body, leaving it to wail in pain. Hell hounds from both sides leaped high and shot fire breaths, as the unicorns now swooped lower, before ascending again after shot powerful beams across the land. The catastrophe was terrible. Hundreds of harpies fell on to the ground with their bodies burnt, of their heads were gone. Two great mastodons clobbered their tusks, which made a sound like a thunder striking the earth.

Suddenly, the ground rumbled in a different way, which made all the creatures stopped fighting. The crystals glittered and shone brightly, giving out green light that flashed and brightened up the whole terrains. Somehow in a way, the anger and grief in their eyes started to disappear, dispelled by the green light that stretched out throughout the whole canyon. All of them were flummoxed, like they had been hypnotised and not knowing what was happening. It was then replaced by the look of harmony and peace that made them stopped fighting. At that point, two mastodons from each sides lumbered forward, before wailing which seemed to be the sign of reconciliation. The dazzling green light even made the whole terrains fertile again.

The bare land suddenly was full of blooming beautiful flowers and covered with evergreen grass. Dead trees grew back again. Not only that, the river that had been dried up for months started running again. The sky became bright blue and the scary clouds were gone. Gentle breeze brushed up against every creatures and washed away their pain. The harpies and the unicorns flitted swiftly above the soar sky. The armies then turned back, before marching back to their own place. The Tree Of Life glowed brightly like it was  a clutch of beautiful diamonds.

.............................................................................................................

After a while, it went quiet. The armies were gone, the birds flew high in the sky and the fish swam happily in the river. But, there was not a single sign of Sir Aaron around, and not even a trace of him. He just…vanished.

<End Of Chapter 1>

Beyond The World. Chapter 1 : The War [part 2]

But… one of the hell hound leaped high and jumped towards Kyn, almost ripped him in pieces.
“Boom…!” the hell hound was shot right after it landed on to the ground. Kyn took aim again, as the last hell hound threw him a blast of fire, but only Kyn’s power was stronger. The  orb in Kyn’s hand glowed more and Kyn’s body radiated such power that it ran through the fire as it was made from nothing. ‘Boom…!’ the last hell hound fell at least 10 meters backward, before running and bawling in pain.

He let out a sigh of relief, before moving on. An odd flower that looked like an oyster shell was nearly stepped over by   him. It gleamed brightly, as it closed it’s petals.
Finally, he came to a halt as he made a final land on the peak of Eacan Canyon. He gazed down the valley.

He knew that there will be a great battle here soon. Kyn turned to West. Ahead of him, a huge wave of army was ready in blue armour steadily marched, along with their weapons. They were ready in everything, including accoutrements. But only few were humans. The rest were animals or creatures that seemed to be  from the prehistoric age. He saw a flock of greedy harpies flew in a circular motion. Along with them was a group of white-winged unicorns. Each of them had great shining twisted horn, as if it can fire a powerful beam from it.

Down there, Kyn descried a herd of mastodon. For twice the size of jumbo elephant, the hefty mastodons could easily ran through things as if even a big tree seemed like nothing to them. The mastodons and unicorns both wore significant blue armours on their heads and bodies.

Not to mention, there were creatures that Kyn himself did not know exist. A long, rock-made snake that reached the length and size of two school buses, steadily trailed along the mastodons. Plus, imagine a creature that owned the body of a lion, and a couple of scorpion tails with three heads of bears emerged. Now make the size of that creature size. The moment Kyn looked at it, his heart pounded faster.

Kyn on the other hand stood as tall as any normal teenager. His blonde hair that covered the strange ‘V’ mark on his forehead and his thin fur on his body made him a creature of a fused cat and human. He glanced to East. The army had equal number like the other side, only they were wearing red armours.
The harsh dry air from the canyon really cold and cruel, giving Kyn a chilblain. He swallowed a think saliva, as sweats trickled down his neck. Kyn gritted his teeth, before he burst to a yell.

“WHATEVER IT IS, I’LL STOP IT!”

Kyn straighten up and he was ready to charge downhill, but stumbled when a voice suddenly shouted his name from behind.

“KYN, WAIT !!!”

Kyn was startled. He twisted his upper body around to see that Sir Aaron was standing, panting and gasping for air. Well, he ‘saw’ that in his aura. Sir Aaron wore a black cape over his shoulder, and a pair of gloves along with a leather hat. Unlike Kyn, Sir Aaron was a real human. At that moment, Kyn immediately knelt down, lowering his head from looking at Sir Aaron.

He noticed that Sir Aaron always had his staff with him. A long, wooden-made staff that had a  large and nice cut diamond embed at the end of it. Sir Aaron also looked pale than his usual.

“M-master, where have you been?”

“Kyn, please stand up. I am not your master.”

He tried to throw a friendly smile to Kyn, but his mien was obviously showed that he was greatly worried about something.

“What happened to your eyes?” Sir Aaron asked.

“Don’t worry about me, master.”

“Are you planning to stop the war?” Sir Aaron added. There was a feeling of malaise at the edge of his voice.
“Yes.” Kyn briefly replied.

“And how do you plan to do that? You will never make it.?”

“I… um…” Kyn knew that what Sir Aaron had said was true.

Beyond The World. Chapter 1 : The War [part 1]

Kyn ran as fast as he could. His cat-like ears twitched every time he heard the ground rumbled and shook, made by the marching mastodons. The sky was red, almost matched the colour of washed blood. A mass of clouds substantially metamorphosed, changing and furling into eerie shapes of misshapen animals. Kyn’s heart was pounding unevenly, and each throb sent shivers to his skin, and his eyes were really sore, like being soaked into a great amount of sea water.

He stopped and wiped his eyes, before clutching tightly at the roll of letter that he just received from the castle. Deep in his heart sealed a grudge on the king upon his late judgement. Kyn wondered if he will ever make it to the colossal armies that lumbered ahead him. He mustered his breath and energy before he darted off again. He jumped from a huge rock to another. In fact, he jumped higher than trees, far higher than any other human could. And his tail helped him a lot to swing from branch to branch as he passed through the Forest Of Darkness.

Kyn ran and jumped again. Down at the corrie, he suddenly became more alert, and he came to a halt. There was nothing in front him, except large rocks and geysers that were gushing out dangerously from the Earth’s crust. He shut his eyes tight and his ears started to twitch. He sensed the aura of universe around him. Everything seemed blue in his vision except living things that looked like flowing blue energy, for instance the birds and waterfalls.

Then, a sudden frigid feeling rushed into him and he jumped ably, just in time when a pair of hell hounds lunged to his stance. Again, he jumped. He made a back flip and landed onto a giant rock as another hell hound appeared from behind, and it almost had him. The three of them were big and black, with a pair of horns on their head like those mountain goats had. They growled loudly in anger, as their mouth opened, before firing blast of fire towards Kyn.

The flame was so hot, as Kyn would rather soak himself in the geysers than being shot by the fire blast. He dodged and shunned, before realising he was surrounded at a corner with the hell hounds inching closer in an insidious way from all direction, and their mouths breathed fire. The biggest one seemed eager and prepared to lunge, which made Kyn to be more meticulous.

Suddenly a hell hound leaped towards Kyn at super-speed, almost got Kyn’s head. Kyn made a side-step, and the hell hound crashed on the wall beside him. The gritty and rubble got Kyn in his eyes, which made him slightly blind. He lost his balance and fell on the ground. Feeling rather angry and frustrated, he closed his eyes and forced himself to stand. Now he had to depend on his aura to defeat the hell hounds.

He flitted and sensed the hell hounds in front of him, which made Kyn stepped forward and stretched out both his arms towards one of the hell hounds, before an orb ball of blue power glowed between his palms and shot the hell hound right in the face. It did not kill him, but sure powerful enough to make it ran away. Kyn concentrated again, and aimed at the other two hell hounds. But…

Shyness...? Find ways to overcome it !

Shyness is a disorder and not an illness.
Are you a shy person?  It can be considered to be normal to some extent. Most people experience some amount of discomfort while entering a room full of strangers, or if they have to deliver a speech. However, sometimes shyness can take on extreme forms. Some even feel shy with their own peers!!

How to overcome shyness

  • Introduce yourself. A big smile will be all you’ll need to get the ball rolling.

Don’t feel the need to qualify yourself. A humble, but accurate description when asked is all that is needed.
  • Ask more, talk less. Ask the questions that let them talk about their lives. And then listen with interest.

Be generous in your opinion. If you reserve judgment and spend time making that person comfortable, you will not only spread some good karma around, but also earn their gratitude.

Remember a detail. If you’ve met someone before, remembering their name and a detail about them will be the greatest gift you can give them.

  • Compliment others. Everyone loves a compliment, they start conversations and they give people confidence.
Think of others. They will be truly grateful and you’ll be distracted from your own nerves!
  • Always look as impressive as you can be. Looking and feeling great may be helpful in boosting your self-confidence.

    • Involve yourself in organisations or activities that you find interesting.

    • Select one social skill to practice at a time. By doing this, you can concentrate your energy and become successful.

    • Self-fulfilling prophecy: Look in the mirror when you wake up and say loudly what your goals for the day are. Then visualise yourself actually doing it. If you feel you need more time, do it the night before as well, or take as much time as you need until you feel ready.

    • Believe in yourself. You can do whatever you put your mind to.

How to be Stress Free

Are bad grades getting you down? A bad relationship or home life? Learn a few simple ways to reduce the stress in your life and have fun!

Steps

  1. Sleep. If you don't get enough sleep you end up being touchy and snappy. In order to establish a good rule of thumb for sleep is to go to bed whenever you're tired, and wake up at the same time each day (weekend or not!). This way, you will get the right amount of sleep! (As 8 hours is not for everyone)
  2. Take care of your body. If you eat right and exercise daily, you won't have to worry about your image, or how many calories are in the burger. You don't have to go cold turkey on fast food, but it shouldn't be your main source of food!
  3. Pay attention in class. You don't go to school to talk to your friends! Instead of wasting an hour at home on learning materials, just learn them in class where there is a teacher to help you! This way you won't feel like you have wasted all day in school.
  4.  Friends. You should have at least one friend that goes to your school. If possible, you should create a close knit group of friends, so you don't have to worry about several different bodies. Instead, you can focus on the circle as a whole. While having a big group of friends can come with responsibilities on your behalf, it's still very beneficial to you. Not only to you get to see what people think of you through a constructive perspective, but you also have a shoulder to cry on during hard times.
  5. Girlfriend/Boyfriend. If your girlfriend/boyfriend treats you like crap, ditch them. They're not worth your time or your tears. Just because they look good doesn't mean they are good.
  6. Let it out. If your sister is bothering her, tell her. You don't have to say "Beth, you are such a mean so and so! Shut up!" Be sincere, because Beth will probably respond better to that. And, if they continue to do whatever bothers you, and if it's really getting on your nerves, just go to whoever is in charge and politely ask them if they would tell Beth to stop.
  7. Relax. Sometimes you just need a break. If things aren't going as you planned them, replan them. Go to a movie, or just sit on your bed and read. You don't always have to be moving, so put away some time to stop!
  8. Learn To Love (Or Just Ignore Them). If someone in school drives you crazy, just try to avoid them. And if that isn't possible, tell them how you feel about them, and ask them if they would please stop talking to you. Though this might invite some hostility at first, if you ignore them they will settle down eventually.
  9. Exercise. For most people, exercise is a great way to relieve stress. Exercising gives most people a natural high, or happy feeling. Also, you can always pretend that the punching bag is the thing you hate most!
  10. Accept yourself. If you can't accept the way you are, change it. Because if you are too worried about that extra fat, or your extremely long hair, your other worries will just start building up again. And if you can't change it, you will have to accept it, because that's who you are. And you really can't change it.
  11. Don't take things personally. Most of the time, people say things as a joke, and you have to learn to recognize that. And if they really mean it, remember that they probably aren't even worth your time. (and if it's someone you are close to who is just mad at you, they probably don't mean it either)
